What happens to your data.

Who is responsible

ArrivoBuddy is operated by Aditya Bundela as a sole proprietorship based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. For privacy requests, email privacy@arrivobuddy.com.

Data we use

• Account: email, authentication information, and any profile details you choose to add. If you use Google sign-in, Google and Supabase handle that sign-in.
• Early access: if you use an early-access form, we collect your email and any optional name, city, or preparation details you enter to respond to that request.
• Planning: the program, university, scholarship, checklist, budget, intake, course-progress, notes, and document-template information you choose to save. Some information stays in your browser; signed-in features may also sync it to your account.
• Purchases: order, payment, refund, entitlement, and paid-content consumption records. Razorpay handles payment details; we do not ask you to enter card numbers into ArrivoBuddy.
• Contact and security: emails you send us, delivery records, and technical request data such as IP address and browser information generated by hosting, authentication, and abuse prevention.
• Optional measurement: page and product events if you allow analytics, and Meta advertising measurement only if you separately allow ads. See the Cookie policy.

We do not ask for passport, Aadhaar, PAN, bank-statement, or transcript uploads to use the service. Avoid entering sensitive information into free-text notes or templates.

Why we use it

We use account and planning data to provide the features you request and sync saved work; payment records to provide Premium access, handle refunds, and meet record-keeping duties; contact data to answer you and send service messages; and technical data to keep the site secure. Optional analytics and advertising run only after the respective choice. We do not sell your contact details.

Form submission or account creation is separate from optional marketing. We will not treat a required account checkbox as consent to marketing emails.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication and database services; Netlify hosts the site; Razorpay processes purchases and refunds; Resend delivers emails. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel run only if enabled by your cookie choice. These providers may process data in locations outside India under their own service arrangements. We also link to external university and government sites; those sites control their own data practices.

Your choices and rights

You can decline or change optional tracking through “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can edit some profile and planning data in the site and request access, correction, erasure, or help withdrawing consent at privacy@arrivobuddy.com. You can request account deletion in Settings. Some purchase and security records may need to be kept where law or a dispute requires it. We will explain any such exception when responding to you.

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 has a phased commencement. We are preparing for the notice, consent, and rights provisions before their scheduled start; we do not claim that all of those provisions are already in force. You may raise an unresolved concern with the Data Protection Board of India when the relevant complaint provisions apply.

Retention and security

We keep account and saved planning data while the account is active or until you delete it, subject to backups and legal obligations. Payment, refund, security, and email-delivery records may remain longer where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, or disputes. Hosting and provider logs follow their respective retention settings. We do not promise a fixed deletion period that our providers have not confirmed.

We use HTTPS, access controls, and account-level data restrictions. No online service can promise absolute security. Contact us if you believe your account or data has been exposed.

Children

The account and paid service are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not provide a verified parental-consent process, so a person under 18 should not create an account or buy Premium. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Contact and changes

For privacy questions or grievances, email privacy@arrivobuddy.com. We will date material policy changes and communicate them where appropriate. A policy change does not itself create consent to a new optional use of your data.
