How can we help you?

Answers to common questions about ArrivoBuddy, your account, the cost calculator, and the Italian course.

Frequently asked questions

Is ArrivoBuddy an admission agent or visa consultant?

No. ArrivoBuddy is an information service. We provide guides, tools, and the Italian course to help you research and plan — we don't file applications, contact universities, or work as a visa agent. We take no referral fees from universities.

For parents: what is ArrivoBuddy in plain words?

ArrivoBuddy helps your student organise their move to Italy — researching universities and programmes, planning a realistic budget, building an application timeline, learning basic Italian, and preparing application documents. It is not an admission agent and does not guarantee admission, scholarship, or visa outcomes. Premium (₹4,999) is a one-time payment covering 18 months of access and a 7-day refund window. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no agent fees.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your planning progress (checklist, Italian course, saved universities and programmes) is stored in your browser's localStorage on this device. When you sign in, it syncs to your account on our servers — encrypted and only accessible to you.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the login page and choose "Forgot password", or open /forgot-password directly. We'll email you a reset link. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam first, then write to support@arrivobuddy.com and we'll help you regain access.

What does Premium include?

Premium adds the full 30-day Italian course (Days 4–30), 30 downloadable cheat sheets and 54 phrase sheets, SOP/motivation-letter/LOR templates, and deeper visa, documents and scholarship guides. The saved plan, account sync, and the progress dashboard are free for every signed-in user — Premium does not gate those. It is a one-time payment covering 18 months of access — not a subscription, and there is no auto-renewal. You can extend by 6 months for ₹999 if your plans shift.

How do I pay for Premium?

Open the Premium page and choose "Get Italy Readiness". Checkout runs through Razorpay in INR — UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets all work. You'll need a free account first, because your purchase is saved to it. It's ₹4,999 one-time, covering 18 months of access, with no auto-renewal.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — if you purchase Premium and feel it doesn't deliver value, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Are the cost estimates accurate?

The cost calculator uses published data from Italian universities, ENEA, and Numbeo. Exchange rates update every 6 hours from the European Central Bank. Treat the numbers as realistic planning estimates — actual costs vary by city, lifestyle, and the specific university. Always verify with official sources before committing.

Does the Italian course cover all 30 days?

The free tier includes Days 1–3. Days 4–30 are Premium. The full 30-day course is built, tested, and ready — it unlocks when you upgrade.

Can I use ArrivoBuddy if I'm applying to a university not listed on the site?

Yes. The planning tools, checklist, Italian course, scholarships guide, and cost calculator work for any university in Italy. The Universities directory covers 38 institutions and the Programmes explorer covers 823 programmes across 31 of them, but neither is exhaustive — for any institution not listed, use the same planning framework and verify with the university directly.

My progress disappeared. What happened?

Progress is stored in your browser's localStorage. If you clear your browser data, switch browsers, or use private/incognito mode, localStorage is wiped. Sign in to sync your progress to your account — after that, it persists across devices and browser clears.
