Document Templates · 15 templates · 5 disciplines

Italian application documents, paragraph by paragraph.

SOP, motivation letter, and LOR-request templates with India-aware paragraph prompts. Fill once via your Document Profile; the variables (degree, why-Italy, long-term goal, extended time out of education) auto-fill across every template.

Which document do you need?

Statement of Purpose

The long-form essay: who you are, why this field, why Italy. Write it first — every other document borrows from it.

Motivation Letter

Shorter and programme-specific — what Italian universities ask for most often. Many use “SOP” and “motivation letter” interchangeably, so check the programme page.

LOR Request

Not the letter itself — the email you send your professor asking for one, with the specifics that make their letter concrete and easy to write.

The template library

Three documents per discipline, in the order you should write them — the SOP feeds the other two.

Visa cover letter

Not discipline-specific — this is the one-page statement the consulate checklist itself asks for, covering why this course and institution, your financial support, scholarship if you have one, and your accommodation plan. Built from the checklist wording, not a generic essay format.

How templates work

  1. 01

    Fill out your Document Profile

Once. Five universal variables plus your why-Italy, long-term-goal, and any extended-time context, all saved to your account.

  2. 02

    Open a template

Pick by discipline and document type. Templates load with your variables pre-filled wherever {{tokens}} would otherwise show.

  3. 03

    Write paragraph by paragraph

Each paragraph card has what-to-write, what-to-avoid, word-count tracking, and India-aware coaching. Copy or download .txt / .eml when done.

Common questions

Document templates — common questions

  • Do I have to fill out the Document Profile first?
No. Templates work without it — every {{token}} that you haven't filled in stays visible as a placeholder so you know what to type. But filling out the Document Profile once means every template you ever open pre-fills with your degree, why-Italy reason, long-term goal, and the other shared variables, so you don't retype them inside every paragraph.
  • Can I edit the generated paragraphs?
Yes — you write every paragraph yourself. Templates surface a what-to-write prompt, a what-to-avoid line, India-aware coaching, and a word-count target for each paragraph. The textarea starts empty (the pre-fill text is shown as a placeholder hint, not as content you have to delete). Your typed words are what end up in the Copy or .txt / .eml download.
  • Are these templates AI-generated?
No. ArrivoBuddy never writes your application content for you. Templates provide structure — paragraph prompts, word-count targets, India-aware coaching notes — and you write the actual words. That's the locked policy: structure from us, content from you. Admissions committees can tell the difference between a coached personal voice and a generated one.
  • What if my discipline isn't here?
The five disciplines (engineering, business, design, humanities, medicine) cover the vast majority of Indian applicants to Italy. If your field doesn't fit neatly into one of them, pick the closest match — most of the structure carries over (foundation, why Italy, long-term goal, why this programme). The paragraph prompts are framed at the level that works for any technical or analytical field within the broader discipline.
  • How does this count toward my refund-eligibility window?
Premium template downloads (Copy, .txt, .eml) count toward your consumption ledger. The 7-day refund-eligibility window stays open as long as your combined consumption (Italian lessons, cheat-sheets, phrase-sheets, document templates, guides) stays under 30% of the paid library (63 of 210 units). Opening a template or previewing the first paragraph doesn't count — only completed downloads do.
